About Me

I have been in Practice as an Independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist since 2003, working with individuals, couples, groups, and Employment Assistance Programmes (EAPs).

I offer short or long term therapy according to your needs.

My training as a Counsellor began with the University of Oxford dept for Continuing Education where I completed a Counselling skills course, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling. Following this I enrolled on a degree course at the Metanoia Institute, where I obtained a diploma in Person Centred Counselling, and ultimately a  BA(Hons) in Person Centred Counselling. I have also obtained a diploma in Psychology, and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

During my training years and subsequently, I have attended many and various associated training courses. As well as enhancing my practice, continuing professional development is a requirement of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), of which I am an accredited member.

My work is governed by the BACP Code of Ethics and Good Practice.

I receive regular Supervision from a BACP registered Supervisor.

I live and work in the peaceful village of Great Coxwell, in a designated confidential space separate from my home.
